Each Wednesday afternoon Ron Kandelaars makes his way to the Adelaide studios of the ABC for his regular “Off the Beaten Track” segments with Drive announcer Michael Smyth on Adelaide 891. Since 2014 Ron has prepared audio vignettes about the characters and places of South Australia offering tips and advice about tourism experiences across the State.

While at Collinswood, he’s a regular visitor to what’s lovingly referred to as the Tardus – the studio booth used for his regular interviews with announcer Annette Marner.  Again, Ron’s “Off The Beaten Track” segments are broadcast across the entire South Australian ABC regional radio network.
